Josephine R. Sorracchi, 96, of Litchfield, NH, died Friday March 18, 2022 in her home with her loving family by her side. She was born in Lawrence, MA on March 23, 1925, a daughter of Francisco and Mary (Toscano) Battaglia. She was the beloved wife of the late John (Mike) Sorracchi.
She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn White; two grandchildren, Lester the 3rd and fiancée Amanda, and Priscilla Fine and husband Adam; two great grandsons, Riley Logan and Jaden Alexander Fine; beloved brother, Thomas Battaglia and sister-in-law Beverly; her beloved goddaughter, Karen Provencher (William); as well as many nieces and nephews. Josephine is predeceased by her beloved brother, John; sister-in-law, Mae Battaglia; and son in law, Lester B. White, Jr.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2022 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, NH. The burial will be held on Friday March 25th at 1:00pm in Flushing Cemetery, 163-6 46th Ave., Queens, NY. Mask usage is at the discretion of the attendee.
