Mary Frances (Grashel) Steiner, 78, of Londonderry, NH, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2022 in her daughters home in Canterbury, NH. She was born on April 29, 1943 in Portsmouth, OH, a daughter of the late Leslie and Frances (Martin) Grashel. Mary was a proud Military Wife, who raised her family while her husband, Michael, served his country. They moved often but she especially enjoyed their time in Hawaii, Charleston, SC and later Maryland. She was a dedicated wife and mother. Mary also was a voracious reader and playing games with her friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Noel Touchette and her fiancée Leslie Bryant; her son, Michael Conrad Steiner and his wife Marie; son-in-law, John Coppola and wife Donna, five grandchildren John Robert Coppola and fiancée Mackenzie, Anthony Coppola, Alexandra Steiner, Michael J. Steiner and Julia Steiner; sisters-in-law, D’Arcy Coulter and Jody Barto; brother in law Orman Boggs, as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 54 years, Michael B. Steiner in 2019, and her sister, Joyce (Grashel) Boggs.
Following cremation, memorial calling hours will be held on Saturday March 26, 2022 from 2 -5 pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. Visitation between 2-4 and an hour of memories shared between 4-5 pm. Mary will be laid to rest with her husband Michael at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA at a later date. Mask usage will be at the discretion of each attendee.
