Obituary

George “Jerry” Tellier, 90, died March 17, 2022 at Hanover Hill Healthcare following a period of declining health.

He was born in Manchester on October 26, 1931 the son of Emile and Marie Ange (Lemay) Tellier.

He proudly served his country in the U. S. Navy aboard the U.S Sicily, U.S. Valley Forge, and U.S. Floyd’s Bay. He later served in the Air National Guard.

Prior to his retirement he worked for Verizon.

He was a longtime parishioner of Sacred Heart Church serving as a Eucharistic Minister, he was also involved in Cub Scouts and parish fundraisers. He also held membership in the American Legion Sweeney Post 2.

Both he and his wife Connie enjoyed traveling in their motorhome to Florida, to the Canadian Provinces and Mexico.

He was predeceased by a son, Steven Tellier in 2005.

Family members include his wife of 64 years, Constance (Brulotte) Tellier, his children; James. P. Tellier, Lynda Tellier, Charles Tellier, David Tellier all of Manchester. He also leaves eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was also predeceased by five siblings; Raymond, Donald, Roger, Jerry, Germaine, Claire and Robert.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 21, 2022 from 6 to 8 pm in J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 10:00 am in Sacred Heart Church, S. Main St.

Military honors will follow in St. Augustin Cemetery Chapel, S. Beech St.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Sacred Heart Church, 265 S. Main St., Manchester NH 03102.
