Marilyn L. Tyler, 84, of Hudson, NH, passed away Thursday March 17, 2022, in the Community Hospice House, Merrimack, NH. She was born on March 4, 1938 in Manchester, NH, the daughter of the late Napoleon Harrington and Olive (Foster) (Harrington) Royer, and had been a resident of Hudson for the past 55 years. Marilyn was an assistant librarian at the Hills Memorial Library in Hudson for 19 years. A longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Hudson (NH), Lyn created the Church library and faithfully served as a deacon, story time leader, and greeter.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, David T. Tyler; five children, Laurie T. Di Mauro and her husband Anthony (Deerfield, NH), Patricia C. Loughran and her husband Roger (Hudson, NH), Donald F. Tyler and his wife Christine (Hudson, NH), Kimberly P. Miller and her husband Fred (Londonderry, NH), and Heather G. Oldroyd (Hudson, NH). Her cherished 17 grandchildren: Christopher, Jennifer, Emily, Chad, Michael, Anthony, Peter, Grace, David, Joseph, Julie, Ambrosia, Valentino, Giovanni, Cindy, Tyler and Samantha. One great grandchild, Miles; as well as nieces Kristen, Leslie, and nephews Bruce, Greg, Steven (deceased), and David. She was predeceased by her brother William J. Harrington.
A calling hour will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 from 9 – 10am in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry, NH. Funeral services will begin at 10am in the funeral home. Burial will follow at 12:00pm in the NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy., Boscawen, NH. Mask usage is at the discretion of the attendee. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Hudson, NH.
