Mark Reed, 67, of Franklin Massachusetts passed away March 17th, 2022.
He now joins his mother Gwen Reed and father Ian Reed.
He is survived by his wife Michelle Reed, children Chandler and Bryanne Reed, Peter Reed and Alex Potter, Courtney Newman, Danielle and Gary Ryan, as well as his grandchildren Anthony, MacKenzie, and Parker. He is also survived by his older sister Jan, and younger brothers Paul John and Charles.
Mark was raised in England and Burma until joining the British house hold cavalry and serving 4 years in the Queen's guard at Whitehall. He immigrated to the United States in 1984 to pursue his passion in furniture restoration.
He enjoyed camping and hiking with his boys and spending summers at Becket family camp, watching the New England Patriots, and playing with his grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time with his wife Michelle, sneaking away for weekends at the cape, grabbing dinner at their favorite restaurants, or just playing a game of dice at home. He loved traveling with friends, he enjoyed his annual cruises, and being anywhere the sun was warm.
Mark was an incredible husband, father, grandfather, and friend He will always be loved and dearly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his calling hours in the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Sunday March 20th, from 2-5PM.
Interment services will be held privately.
