Cynthia Ann "Cindy" (Howard) Gause, 59, of Anderson, died March 16, 2022, at Summitville Health and Living after a courageous battle with cancer.
Cynthia was born February 1, 1963 in Marion, Indiana the daughter of Ronald Earl and Rose Ann (Henderson) Howard. She earned her associate's in nursing from Indiana University Kokomo and her bachelor's in nursing from Indiana Wesleyan. She was a registered nurse at Community Hospital from July 1988 until January 2020. She loved her animals, shopping, a devoted Indiana University basketball fan, caregiver, avid reader, enjoyed traveling especially to Hawaii, and attending theatre productions and movies.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Doug Gause of Anderson; her mother, Rose Ann Howard of Marion; daughter, Erica (Sean) Dowling of Brownsburg; grandson, Seamus Dowling; four sisters, Patty (Frank) Hartenstein of Beckley, West Virginia, Pamela (Roy) Childers of Peru, Rhonda (Steve) Elliott of Marion and Kelly (Todd) Adams of Richmond; mother-in-law, Myrna Duncan of Swayzee; two sisters-in-law, Sherri Brannon of Sweetser and Debbie Sanders of Marion, a brother-in-law, John Gause of Indianapolis; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Connie Bright of Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Howard
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, March 21, 2022 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Ned Clark officiating.
Visitation will be on Sunday, March 20, 2022 from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
