Judith E. “Judie” Stephens, 75, of Derry, NH, passed away Monday March 14, 2022, in the Parkland Medical Center, Derry. She was born on May 8, 1946, in Orange, NJ, a daughter of the late John and Mary (Hampton) Stephens. Judie proudly served her country as a member of the United States Navy. She enjoyed trips to Maine with her sister Lillian to visit the lighthouses and spend time at the beach. She also enjoyed watching her birds from the comfort of her home. Judie loved doing puzzles, jigsaw and search and find puzzles. Her greatest joy was the time spent with her family. She felt blessed to have such a close relationship with her granddaughters Hydie, Hollie and Samantha and great grandsons Odin and Carter.
She is survived by daughter, Jodie Zibolis and husband Kevin of Derry; ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, her sister, Laura Thorne and husband Kenny of Billerica, MA, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, calling hours will be held on Friday March 18, 2022 from 5 – 7pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. A Memorial service will begin at 7pm in the funeral home. Mask usage will be at the discretion of each attendee. A graveside service will be held by the family on Monday March 21, 2022, at 11:00 am in the Fox Hill Cemetery, Andover Road, Billerica, MA.
