Michelle See, 64, of Daleville passed away March 12, 2022, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Anderson after a brief journey with cancer.
Michelle was born November 3, 1957, to Earl Hartley and Mary (Turner) Hartley in Anderson. She is survived by her many siblings including Cheryl (Randy) Kistler, Darla Jo Hartley, Rhonda Reeves, Jowanna Ogan, Don (Chris) Hartley, Kelly (Rob) Thurber, and Linda Hartley. She was a long-time employee of St. John’s Healthcare System where she loved being an instrument technician. She also worked at Community Hospital and most recently at Helmer Scientific where she retired from.
Michelle is also survived by her two children, Miranda See (Doug Horton) of Anderson and Jonathan See of Middletown, grandchildren, Mackenzie Richey, Xerin Horton and Sheila Horton, and great-grandchildren Liam and Mia. She also had many loving friends, including Betsy Marshall and Teresa Gilley.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Mary.
Michelle loved life. Her inquisitive nature was present until the very end. She was always trying to figure things out and always ready to talk to people about what she had learned. If you ever talked to Michelle, you know she had the gift of gab. She was a hard worker, very handy and truly artistic. She was strong and independent. She loved her grandchildren and often could be found hanging out with her grandson, Xerin, on the weekends. She loved riding her Harley and met many great friends through that. She loved gardening, music, the outdoors and attending concerts. She kept things simple and found joy in the little things.
Visitation will be 1pm-3pm on Friday, March 18th at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service. Funeral Service will follow with Pastor Ned Clark of Chesterfield Christian Church officiating.
