Helen Lulsdorf
TEWKSBURY Helen Lulsdorf, 94, of Tewksbury, passed away after a period of declining health on Friday, March 11, 2022 at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center.
She was born on April 24, 1927, in Bonn, Germany, and was a daughter of the late Matthias and the late Catherine (Schmitz) Lulsdorf. She grew up and was educated in Bonn. In 1961 she came to the United States, she resided in Brighton until 1989 when she made her home in Tewksbury.
She was very active in Saint William's Church community, a member of St. William's Prayer Group, she enjoyed going on A.C.T.S. retreats, she was part of the Evangelization Group, a member of the Saint Vincent DePaul Society, and a lay member of the Holy Union Sisters.
She is survived by her sister in law Ulli Lulsdorf of Germany, her eight nieces and nephews, Sylvia Rothe of Germany, Marion Engelhardt of Germany, Monica Chamberlain of Burlington, MA, Mark Lulsdorf of St. Augustine, FL. Thomas Lulsdorf of Wilmington, MA, Henry Lulsdorf of Germany, Esther Powers of California, and Suzanne Voegele of Pennsylvania.
She is predeceased by her siblings Heinrich & Gerda Lulsdorf, Hermann Lulsdorf and Ria Rothe.
You are invited to her visitation on Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 10 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Saint William's Church 1351 Main St, Tewksbury, MA 01876. Her Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 followed by procession to the Tewksbury Cemetery.
