Obituary

Blanche E. Calarese (Sullivan), 92, of Franklin passed away on March 13th, peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones.

Born in Boston on January 1, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Gordon N. Sullivan and Lillian Dudley (Towner).

Blanche was an extraordinary homemaker who loved listening to country music and enjoying something sweet with a cup of tea. She enjoyed taking walks and spending time in her yard. Her quick wit and sense of humor brought smiles to everyone in her life. She was a strong woman who passed her strength onto her daughters and granddaughters.

Blanches greatest love was her family. She was married to her beloved husband Arthur J. Calarese for 72 wonderful years. Together they settled in Franklin Ma, where they raised a family and enjoyed time with friends and neighbors. Blanche and Arthur created many fond memories traveling to some of their favorite places such as Nashville, Florida, and Aruba.

She is survived by four children, Arthur Calarese and his wife Sue of Bellingham, Frank Calarese of Port Charlotte, Florida, Jean DiRosario and her husband Mike of Franklin, and Linda Morton and her husband John of Plainville.

She is also survived by her ten grandchildren, Michelle Graham of Mendon, Daniel Calarese of Millbrae, California, Krystal Ruiz of Nashua, New Hampshire, Ryan Calarese of Marlborough, Michael DiRosario of Blackstone, Ashley DiRosario of Franklin, Jennifer Francis of Bellingham, Kimberly Morton of Plainville, Lauren Morton of Plainville, and John Morton of Murfeesboro, Tennessee; and ten great-grandchildren, Connor, Tyler, and Jocelyn Graham, Dylan and Zoey Calarese, Kinsley and Kayleigh DiRosario, Wyatt and Arlo Francis, and Mia Morton.

Her strong and encouraging way was a guiding light to all, she will be missed and remembered.
