Patricia A. Whittemore
A former longtime Tewksbury resident
HUDSON, NH: Patricia A. (Pushor) Whittemore, age 91, a Groton resident for the past 7 years, passed away at Fairview Senior Living in Hudson, NH on Saturday, March 12, 2022.
She was the beloved wife of Charles R. Whittemore, who passed away September 30, 2016.
Born in Lowell on January 13, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Catherine (Gillman) Pushor.
Patricia was raised in Lowell and graduated from Lowell High School in 1949.
In 1956, she and her late husband moved to Tewksbury, where they raised their three children.
She was a member of the Tewksbury Red Hat Society as well as the Tewksbury Senior Center.
Patricia was a fantastic cook and was known to prepare many delicious offerings including her special recipe for “Perogies”.
In her spare time, she enjoyed art and craft projects, and traveling throughout the world with her late husband.
Patricia loved tap dancing. In her youth, she took up tap dancing and performed in numerous shows sponsored by the U.S.O. Her love for tap dancing continued throughout most of her adult life.
She was the mother of Donna G. Russo and her husband John, of Hudson, NH, Donald M. Whittemore and his wife Denise, of Dunstable, and the late David Whittemore and his surviving wife, Donna of Farmington, NH. She leaves her grandchildren, Jennifer Murphy, Valerie LeClair, Joshua Whittemore, Jared Whittemore, Justin Whittemore, Jason Whittemore, and Rebecca Khalil: sixteen great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild: as well as her brother, Ralph Pushor, Jr., of Nashua, NH.
Calling hours are Wednesday, March 16, from 4-7 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee Street, Tewksbury. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 17, at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Lowell Cemetery.
