Sandra L. (Brewer) Braga, 77, of New Bedford, passed away on Friday, March 11, 2022 at St. Luke's Hospital. She was the wife of the late Robert Braga.
Mrs. Braga was born in Acushnet, daughter of the late Lawrence J. Brewer and the late Marjorie (Leger) Milosek and her husband Walter Milosek and had resided in New Bedford for most of her life. She was a member of The Moose Lodge, The Washington Club and The Central Luzo Club, all of New Bedford. A very social person, she enjoyed singing karaoke and going out with her many friends. She loved her cat Bee Bee and spending time with family.
Survivors include her 2 daughters: Brenda L. Braga and her companion Joseph Souza of New Bedford and Darlene L. Braga and her fiancé Christopher Lawrence of ME; her son: Dennis Braga and his wife Diane of WI; her sister: Susan Milosek of New Bedford; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; her dear cousin Terri Bennett Monte who she thought of as a sister; along with many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Joyce Sylvia, Ronald Milosek and Sharon Newton.
Funeral service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at the Kirby Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M.
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 5-7 P.M.
Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Marion.
