Jerry Tevepaugh
Beloved Husband

LOWELL - Jerry Wayne ‘Bunka’ Tevepaugh, 73 of Lowell, passed away on Friday, March 11, 2022 at Lowell General Hospital. He was the husband of the love of his life, Donna (Silvia) Tevepaugh with whom he would have celebrated their fifty second wedding anniversary in July.

He was born in Mooresville, NC on May 27, 1948 and was a son of the late Robert D. Tevepaugh and the late Viola (Jordan) Tevepaugh. He was raised in Mooresville until the age of 9 when he moved to Lowell with his father.

Bunka loved fishing, especially bass fishing for large mouth bass. He loved flea markets, repairing things, especially with silicone. He loved music, the oldies but goodies of the 40’s and 50’s. A lover of classic cars, he was proud member of the Dracut Roadrunners and also a member of the VFW Walker Rogers Post 662. Auxiliary. But his deepest love was for his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Donna Tevepaugh of Lowell, he is survived by his three children, Michael Tevepaugh of Lowell, Joseph G. Tevepaugh and his wife, Laurie of NC, and Doreen Valladares and her husband, Wilfredo of Hinsdale, NH; He also had Linda Foley and John Riel that he loved like his own children. He had ten grandchildren, Samantha Stevenson and her husband, Kenneth, Kayle Hussey-Valladares, Brennan Tevepaugh, Kloe Valladares- Ambert and her wife Alianna. Collin Tevepaugh, Madison Genge-Tevepaugh, Olivia Valladares, Felicia Valladares, Michelle Valladares, and Daniel Valladares; and his great grandchildren, Amelia, Landon, Myles, and Willow. He had two special nieces in his life that he loved deeply, Darlene Villaras and TerryAnn Bowen. Also many nieces and nephews who he loved with his entire heart.

He is also survived by his siblings, Bobby Daniel Tevepaugh of MA, Robert L. Tevepaugh of NC, Cora Prowker of NC, Darrell Tevepaugh and his wife, Linda of NC, and Tony Tevepaugh of NC; his brother in law, Robert LeVasseur of KY, and his very close special friends, Ray Edwards, William Tanguay, Franny & Joe Lavertue, and Tom Babcock

Bunka was predeceased by his siblings, the late Geraldine Hyatt, the late Linda Hambright; and his sister in law, the late Dianne M. LeVasseur.

On Wednesday, March 16, 2022 all are welcome to attend his calling hours from 4-7 p.m. at McDonough Funeral Home, 14 Highland Street, Lowell, MA 978-458-6816.
