Obituary

David Edmund Catalanotto, 58, of Kingston, NH passed away on Friday, March 11, 2022 at Lahey Clinic.

David was born on July 13, 1963 in Waltham, MA, and grew up in Wayland, MA, a son of the Stephen and Barbara (Morahan) Catalanotto. David married his wife, Ruth (Barrett) in 1987 and eventually settled in Kingston, NH, to raise their two children.

David worked in high-tech software sales for his entire career and thoroughly enjoyed building relationships with his customers. Relationships were always the most important part of life for David. He was well known for the fact that he could and did talk to everyone he met. David was an incredible father and very supportive of his two children, Nicholas and Caitlin. For many years, you could find David on the sidelines of their sports games, cheering on the their teams and chatting with everyone there. He never missed a game and never turned down an opportunity to play catch in the backyard. His sense of humor and vibrant laugh were always present in everything he did. David enjoyed watching the Red Sox and Patriots games with Nick and Hallmark movies with Caitlin. Family vacations and creating memories as a family was always very important to David. He was exceptionally generous and would literally give you the shirt off his back, if he knew you needed it.

While all relationships were of utmost importance to David, there was one that meant more to him than all the others: His relationship with Jesus. He wanted everyone he met to know of the life-changing power of this relationship.

David is survived by his two children, Nicholas and Caitlin, his brother James and wife Emily Catalanotto and his brother Stephen T. Catalanotto. David was predeceased by his loving wife, Ruth, in 2013.
