In Taunton, Dorothy “Dottie” Eva Dudley, age 80, passed away suddenly in Morton Hospital on March 9, 2022. Beloved wife of Dana E. Dudley of Taunton, sister of Lorraine Ciavarro of Marshfield, MA, and the late William Ciavarro. Survived by William’s wife Patricia of Carver, MA, Geraldine Lambert of Halifax, MA and a number of nieces and nephews. Dorothy was born in Brockton, the daughter of the late Annunzio Ciavarro & Eva (Adomaitis) Ciavarro.
Dorothy had been a resident of Taunton for 50 years and was formerly of Brockton. She was employed for the City of Taunton, working in the tax office until her retirement. Dottie enjoyed trips to St. Martin and taking cruises. She loved to send cards to family and friends for all occasions and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Visiting hours will be held at the O’Keefe Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Monday, March 14, 2022 from 9:30-11am. A funeral home service will be held at 11am. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Stoughton, MA. Donations in Dorothy’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association, at www.heart.org/aha/memorial
