Louis DiFronzo, age 84, late of Middleton passed away on Monday, March 7th, in the presence of his family. Born in Norwich, CT, he was the son of the late Michael Angelo and Diomira (Vitiello) DiFronzo. Louis enjoyed a long retirement with his friends and family following his career as a Master Electrician employed by Harvard University for over 30 years.
Lou was the beloved husband of Charlotte (Rand) DiFronzo, and the devoted father of Susan Hayes, Louis DiFronzo Jr. and his wife Cathleen, and Charles DiFronzo and his wife Johnna. He was the loving grandfather of Devyn DiFronzo, Maria and her husband Derick Marquardt, Olivia DiFronzo, Michelle Hayes, Michael DiFronzo, Mathew DiFronzo, Nicholas DiFronzo and Jake DiFronzo. He had a great circle of family and friends.
Lou graduated from the Medford Vocational School and became a master electrician and started his family as a young man. He was a youth baseball coach for many years and a longtime Medford resident who also loved his time up at his Camp that he built at Northwood Lake in New Hampshire where we was captain of his boat at all times teaching any who joined him how to get up on water skis. He leaves behind many great friends and wonderful memories for all who were blessed to know him. He was a tradesman who could do any job, big or small, and he could fix it if it was to be fixed; but alas he was not much of a cook.
A funeral service will be conducted in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Wednesday, March 16th at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, March 15th, from 4 through 7 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
