Karen (Zink) Hamilton formally of Columbus, Indiana passed peacefully at her daughter’s home in Massachusetts on March 7, 2022.
Born on August 19, 1947 at Bartholomew County Hospital she was the daughter Earl and Della Zink. Karen was a 1965 graduate of Columbus High School. She worked as a switchboard operator for Cosco Corporation and later was employed by Irwin Union Bank as a loan officer before relocating to Jacksonville, Florida where she served as President of Omni Federal Credit Union and retired in Port Charlotte, Florida.
She is survived by her husband Bob (Ham) Hamilton, daughter Kye (Chesnut) Flotte, a brother Steve Zink and a sister Debra Rust. Also surviving to honor her life are grandchildren Lindsay Braith and Jesse Braith, numerous nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter Laressa Chesnut Gribbons.
