(BAR MILLS) BUXTON- Katherine Louise Brown-Medlen, age 63, passed away on March 7, 2022, at home
after a long battle with cancer.
She was born on August 16, 1958, in Portland, Maine to Paul and Edna Brown (MacDonald). She
attended Leavitt High School.
She loved to be in the woods, or outside, watching birds, spending time with her grandchildren
and friends and family.
She was predeceased by her son, Brendan Brown, and both of her parents, Paul Brown, and
Edna Brown- MacDonald.
She is survived by her daughter, Rebekah Medlen, her sister, Brenda Brooks, and two brothers,
Lee Brown, and Patrick MacDonald. Also, seven grandchildren, and lots of adopted kids and
grandkids.
She didn't want a service after she passed, she wanted to celebrate while she was alive.
