Michelle Dyne Thorne was born on January 24th, 1968, in St. Michael, Barbados to the late and great Elda Thorne and Oliver Forde. She was one of five children, three sisters and one brother. In 1993, she migrated to the United States where she resided in Brooklyn, New York and later moved to Cambridge and Dorchester, Massachusetts. She was employed by Cambridge Bank, Mass Eye & Ear and held other part-time positions at various companies.
She was an incredibly amazing Sister, Aunt, Cousin, Singer, Model, and Friend; a lady filled with grace, pride, dignity, respect, with an enormous love for her family, friends, caretakers and especially her homeland of Barbados. She was a beautiful soul who touched everyone she met. Michelle loved to laugh even when you had no idea what the laughter was about. She was a dedicated supporter of The Barbadian Cultural Committee of Boston, Inc. (BCCB) and was always able to support them in any way possible.
Michelle was a firm believer that God knew what he was doing. She never doubted him for a second. She believed that God would never leave her or her family and would guide them through whatever they faced no matter the outcome. She always said, "It’s God's plan for me."
On Thursday, March 3rd, 2022, at 1:26 pm, Michelle was peacefully called home to be with her Father in the presence of a caring staff.
Michelle was preceded in death by her mother and father Elda Thorne and Oliver Forde, sister and brother Juliet Thorne and Henderson Goodridge.
