WALL, Dolores (Lee) of Roslindale, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on March 6, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Leonard F. Wall. Loving mother of Dorothy "Dot" D'Amato and her husband Jim of Roslindale, Leonard F. Wall, Jr. and his wife Michelle of Milton and Patricia Wall of Roslindale. Cherished Nana of Caitlin and Emily D'Amato and Lenny, Bridget and Molly Wall. Dear sister to her twin Dorothy Foley of Walpole and the late Hazel Myers, Barbara Lee, Thomas Lee, and Jean Brown. Also survived by many adored nieces and nephews.
Dolores was a life-long resident of Roslindale. She was a proud member of the class of 1954 from Roslindale High School. She met the love of her life Len and they married in 1962. She worked at State Street Bank in Boston before staying home to raise her children, which was her favorite role. When they were grown, she went to work for Sacred Heart Rectory, a job she loved. She was known to everyone in Roslindale Square with her daily walks to visit friends and to pick up desserts for her children and grandchildren. Dolores also loved her summers in Scituate and strolling the shores of Sand Hills with her grandchildren looking for blue seaglass.
Visiting hours at the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St., West Roxbury on Sunday, March 13th from 3-7 pm. Funeral from the funeral home on Monday, March 14th at 9 am followed by a Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church at 10 o’clock. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Dolores may be made to the Sacred Heart Memorial Fund, 169 Cummins Hwy., Roslindale, MA. 02131
