FALL RIVER… Carmen M. Ramos-Soto, 54, of Fall River passed away March 5, 2022 at Charlton Memorial Hospital.
Born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, she was a daughter of the late Victor Ramos-Aviles and Antonia Soto-Santiago.
Ms. Ramos-Soto was a graduate of the University of Mayaguez, having earned degrees in accounting and business administration. After coming to Fall River, she became involved with the City Guards of Fall River and assisted them in caring for the city’s homeless. She was a devoted member of Iglesia de Dios El Camino, Inc. She had enjoyed going out to eat and singing, but above all else, she loved spending time with her beloved grandchildren.
Survivors include her sons: Jose Quinones and his fiancée Lizaida Ramos-Cotto of Fall River and Bryan Quinones and his wife Zulenys of Fall River; her grandchildren: Diomar, Michelle and Brinelys; her sisters: Evette Ramos of Puerto Rico and Socorro “Pita” Ramos of Florida along with several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Michelle Quinones and sister of the late Victor Ramos.
Service to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Friday, March 11, 2022 from 5-8 PM at South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant Street Fall River, MA 02723. Cremation will follow.
