Pedro Filipe Rodrigues Pires (62) of Brockton passed away March 8th in the Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston.
He was born in Mosteiros, Fogo, Cape Verde son of Filipe Rodrigues Pires and Antonia (Miranda) Rodrigues Pires. Pedro was a store owner and a communicant of St. Edith Stein Church. He loved motorcycles, listening to soccer on the radio, cooking and socializing with family and friends.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his daughters, Ana and Ilena Pires, his siblings, Jose Rodrigues Pires, Joao Rodrigues Pires, Gabriel Rodrigues Pires, Felisberta Rodrigues Pires, Amancio Rodrigues Pires, Luciana Rodrigues Pires, Manuel Rodrigues Pires, Humberto Rodrigues Pires, Marcilino Rodrigues Pires, Marcilino II Rodrigues Pires, Antonio Rodrigues Pires, Antonia Rodrigues Pires, Fidginho Galvao, Augusta Galvao, Nene Pires, Joao Corriea, Toze George Pires, Jorge Pires, Filipe Pires II, Luluxa Pires, Shana Pires, Nicholas Rodrigues, Idalina Pires, Bebe Pires and Idinha Pires, his former wife Antonia Garcia and 3 grandchildren, Nyana, Brysen and Armani.
Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street Brockton Thursday March 10th from 5-8 pm. Services in the Funeral Home Friday March 11th at 9 am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein Church, 71 E Main Street Brockton at 10 am. Burial to follow in Melrose Cemetery, 88 N Pearl Street Brockton.
