Dean M. Kennedy

Dean M. Kennedy, age 58, a longtime resident of Tewksbury, formerly of Aspen, Maine, passed away from an apparent coronary condition on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at the Lahey Clinic Hospital in Burlington.
Born in Lowell on October 17, 1963, he was the son of the late Joseph F. Kennedy and the late Virginia L. (Orff) (Kennedy) Ward. He was also the step-son of the late Kenneth Ward.
Dean was raised in Tewksbury and attended Tewksbury Public Schools.
For the past 40 years, he worked in the commercial and residential plastering business.
Dean was very intelligent and an avid reader, one of his favorite books was “A Course In Miracles” by the Foundation of Inner Peace. In addition, he was an excellent gardener, enjoyed telling stories and making people laugh, and riding his bicycle. Dean was an animal lover and often was often referred to as a “Horse Whisperer”.
He is survived by two sisters, Dale F. Kennedy Cormier Flynn and her husband Brendan Flynn, of Tewksbury and Dyan Kennedy DeVega and her husband Carlos, of Danvers and Costa Rica: his nieces and nephews, Ashlee Kennedy, Katie Piper, Alan Piper, Adam Cormier and Eric Cormier and his wife Jessica.
Family and friends will be received Thursday, March 10th, from 5-7 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee Street, Tewksbury. There are No Funeral Services planned.
