Sharon E. (Leavitt) Brady, 77, of New Bedford, passed away on Monday, March 7, 2022 at Brandon Woods of New Bedford. She was the wife of the late John Brady.
Mrs. Brady was born in Oxford, ME daughter of the late Albert T. and Verna (Scribner) Leavitt and had resided in New Bedford for most of her life. Prior to retirement, she worked as a maid for various area hotels and private homes. She enjoyed traveling and her pet cats.
Survivors include her 2 sons: Scott H. Brady of Marion and Jason E. Brady and his wife Jennifer of Fairhaven; a brother: Fred Leavitt of Wareham; a sister: Bonnie Desroche of New Bedford; along with several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Wayne Leavitt, Albert Leavitt and Theodore Leavitt.
Funeral service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Friday, March 11, 2022 at the Potter Funeral Home at 12:00 P.M.
Visitation will be Friday, from 11:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M., prior to the service.
Interment will be in Old Landing Cemetery, Marion.
