Bryan Donahue entered into eternal life suddenly on February 9th, 2022 peacefully in his home on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.
He was born and raised in Charlestown. He attended Boston public schools. He worked for Gillette in South Boston, where he met his wife. He worked for Massachusetts Water Resource Authority (MWRA) for many years. He attended heating and air conditioning school (HVAC). He pursued a career in HVAC in South Carolina. He loved his family and friends. He is survived by his wife Rose Jacobs Donahue. He was a loving father to his 3 children: Heather McGuire and her husband Sean, Bryan, and Taylor Donahue and his 6 grandchildren: Braden, Grady, Harley, Tyler, Riley and Emma.
Bryan was born January 11, 1962. He is the proud son of Josephine R. Donahue and the late James T. Donahue of Charlestown, the brother of Darlene Marckini and her husband Frank, Thomas Donahue, Scott Donahue and his wife Maura, and the late James T. Donahue Jr. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Bryan loved being a fisherman, golfer (hacker), playing horseshoes and darts. Everyone that ever met Bryan, would say he had a great sense of humor and was fun to be around. He will be missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Bryan's Funeral Mass on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 11 A.M. in St. Mary's Church, 55 Warren St. Charlestown. His burial will be private. There are no funeral home visiting hours.
