FALL RIVER… Malvina “Molly” (Espinola) DaSilva, age 59, of Fall River passed away February 28, 2022 at Charlton Memorial Hospital.
Born in St. Michael, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Manuel M. and Alice (Tavares) Espinola.
Mrs. DaSilva was a communicant of Espirito Santo Church. She had worked most of her life as a waitress, service patrons of the former White’s Spa and China Royal and more recently at Terra Nostra Restaurant. She was a funny, outgoing person who could always be found with a smile on her face and a joke at the ready to brighten your day. She adored her family and enjoyed shopping.
Survivors include her beloved grandson and care-taker Devontai Souza of Fall River; her daughter Megan-Lynn DaSilva of Cranson, RI; her son Kyle DaSilva of Fall River; her sister Belmira Borges of Westport; and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Ian DaSilva.
Service to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Monday, March 7, 2022 from 5 – 7 PM at South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant Street Fall River, MA 02723. Cremation will follow.
