Eva May Polhemus, 75, of Londonderry, NH, passed away Wednesday March 2, 2022 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. She was born on August 24, 1946 in Portland, ME, a daughter of the late Walter and Marguerite “Peggy” (Latham) Tatarcuzk. Eva was a resident of Londonderry for the past year, formerly living in Sebago, ME.
Eva worked many years for Digital Equipment Corp in southern NH. In the early 1990’s she transitioned to the medical billing field until her retirement in 2011. Through the years Eva enjoyed skiing, camping, quilting, gardening, cooking, going on whale watches, and just taking a ride to see where the road took us. Eva also took great joy in having her special dog Darla curled up with her in her recliner. However, her greatest joy was just spending time with her family.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 32 years, Wayne Polhemus of Londonderry; four children, Cheryl Booth and husband Chuck of Bradford, NH, Brian Miller of Townsend, MA, Lisa Krebs and husband Beau of Bedford, NH and Jason Allen and wife Nicole of Londonderry; seven grandchildren, Avenley, Olivia, Casey, Derek, Lauren, Meghan and Hunter; one sister, Sharon Tanguay and husband James of Florida; and niece, Dominique and her two sons Logan and Liam. She was predeceased by her sister Judith Whitney in October 2021.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 19th at 1:00 pm in the Orchard Christian Fellowship Church, 136 Pillsbury Rd, Londonderry. Pastor Ken will preside over the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice to benefit Diabetes Research.
