DeMERCHANT, Roland K. “Rollie” (Ret. Lt. Wellesley Fire Dept.) 78, of Natick, passed away peacefully with his family by his side, March 1, 2022. Beloved husband of Carol A. (Tiberi) DeMerchant for 55 years. Devoted father of Kenneth D. DeMerchant and his wife Amy of Franklin and Kelley M. Toli and her husband Donald of Franklin. Grandfather of Kenneth, Andrew, Caroline, Matthew, and Cody. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Rollie was a Licensed Master Electrician and owner of Roland K. DeMerchant Electrical Service.
He had a true love for his family and animals, especially Bauer and Copper. He spent most of his time attending his grandchildren's sporting events.
Visiting hours will be held at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St., (Rt.16) Wellesley on Sunday, Mar. 6 from 4-8pm. His funeral will take place from the funeral home on Monday, Mar. 7 at 10am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John the Evangelist Church, Wellesley Hills at 11am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Needham.
