Teresa (Fiorentino) Feola passed away peacefully at home in the company of her loving family. She was 94. Born and raised in Mirabella Eclano, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Gabriele and Carmela (Barletta) Fiorentino. She and her family came to the United States and settled in Medford in 1970. A deeply devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Teresa worked hard to give her family a beautiful life in their new country. While she worked as a laundress, Teresa’s devotion was primarily towards her family. She and her husband kept a beautiful garden and shared the bounty of their hard work by making delicious meals for the family. Teresa also had a part in the production of wine every year. She was devout woman who prayed often. She never wavered from her love and care for her family.
The beloved wife of the late Mario Feola who passed away in 2013, she was a devoted mother to Agostino Feola and his wife Cirena of Medford and Fiore Feola and his wife Joyce of Andover. She was a loving grandmother to Gianni, Marisa, Bianca and Mark, and a loving great-grandmother to Eliana and Natalie. The dear sister of Rosinella Flammia, Gennaro Fiorentino, Carmela DeSimone, Antonio Fiorentino, Palmira Pepe, the late Lena Imbriano and Antonietta Buonopane, Teresa also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Teresa’s funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Friday, March 4th at 8:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner Street, Medford, at 9:30 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family Thursday 4 – 8 PM.
