Marie Camille (Giaramita) Loughlin, 78 of Tewksbury, formerly of Billerica, passed away on February 23, 2022 at D’Youville Senior Care after a long and remarkable life. She was the beloved wife of William F. Loughlin Sr. who passed away in 2018 after 60 years of marriage. She was born on March 31, 1943 in Brookline, MA and was a daughter of the late Benjamin W. and the late Josephine M. (Ginnino) Giaramita. She was raised in Somerville and was a graduate of Somerville High School with the class of 1960.
She made her home in Tewksbury for the last ten years, and prior to that she raised her family in Billerica, and resided there for over forty years. Marie was a nurturing mother, fostering over 17 children for the Department of Children and Families. She was a member for over 15 years and cofacilitated the Mass Approach to Parenting Partnership program. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Billerica, and St. William's Church in Tewksbury, she was very active in her parishes, and served with her husband as a Eucharistic Minister.
She leaves her son William F. Loughlin Jr. and his wife Cynthia Souza, her daughter, Karen M. (Loughlin) Maguire and her partner, Mark of Tewksbury, formerly of Billerica; her grandchildren Erica (Loughlin) Rosauer and her husband Dan of Illinois, Samantha Nugent and her husband Matthew of Merrimack, NH, Andrew Loughlin and his partner Tim of Illinois, Miranda Maguire and her wife Erin of Greenfield; her sister, Francine Robertson of Methuen; and her sister-in- law, Diane Giaramita of Saugus, and her brother-in-law Paul Ruffo of Somerville. She is also survived by her great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Camille Ruffo, and the late Frank Giaramita.

On Friday, March 4, 2022 all are welcome to attend her funeral Mass at St. Williams Church, 1351 Main St., Tewksbury, at 11:30 a.m.. Burial will follow at Tewksbury Cemetery.
