Jacques F. Seide (81) of Brockton died February 26th at home under hospice care surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Marie Remy.
He was born in Trou-Du-Nord, Haiti son of the late Almica Seide and Alnalia Jean. Jacques was a retired public health agent in his home country of Haiti. He was a member of Brockton Temple Seventh-day Adventist Church and enjoyed politics and playing cards with friends. Jacques was known for his love for his church community and being an community activist supporting the youth.
In addition to his wife he is survived by 5 sons, Frantz Seide of Brockton, Guerdy Seide of France, Gerald, Franck and Frednel Seide all of Haiti, 3 daughters, Katia Seide of Brockton, Judine Seide of Haiti and Juslaine Seide, 2 brothers, Simon Seide of Georgia and Jean Robert Seide of Canada, 2 sisters, Nella and Rose Seide both of Canada, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Services in the Brockton Temple Seventh-day Adventist Church, 235 Court Street Brockton Sunday March 13th at 10 am. Burial to follow in Central Cemetery, 327 North Street Randolph. Viewing from 8 am prior to services.
