Virginia J. Maguire, 55 of Lowell, passed away after a brief illness on Friday, February 25, 2022 at Lowell General Hospital. She was born on May 25, 1966 in Lowell and was a daughter of the late Donald P. Maguire and the late Virginia (Convery) Wayne-Maguire. She was raised in Lowell, where she attended the area schools.
Virginia was a devoted mother and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time making memories and decorating for the holidays.
She is survived by her three children, Timothy Maguire of Lowell, Meghan Maguire of N. Chelmsford, and Makaillie Maguire of Lowell; her beloved grandchildren, Hanna and Carter Maguire, and Briella and Graysen McGrade-Beauchesne. She is also survived by her siblings, James Maguire of Lowell, John Maguire of Lowell, and Elizabeth valkavitch and her husband, Michael of Lowell; her step sister, Maureen A. Wayne-Ayotte of Manchester, NH; and her best friend, Cindy Cox of Lowell.
In addition to her parents, Donald Maguire and Virginia Wayne-Maguire, she was welcomed into heaven by her siblings, the late Donald Maguire and the late David Maguire; and her lifelong partner, the late Timothy Stairs.

On Thursday, March 3, 2022 all are welcome to attend her calling hours from 9-11 a.m. at McDonough Funeral Home, 14 Highland Street, Lowell, MA 978-458-6816.
Her funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 11 a.m. followed by procession for burial at Edson Cemetery.
