Gregory A. King, 62, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at his residence.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
Greg was born June 15, 1959, in Pensacola, Florida. He worked as a lab technician for Modern Dispersions South, Inc. in Fitzgerald. He enjoyed fishing and playing golf. He also enjoyed gardening, working in his yard, and spending time with his grandson. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him, including his fur babies Molly (Moo Moo) and Lola (Lulu). He was a member of Arbor Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Carrie Jo “C.J.” King of Fitzgerald; daughter, Tina Marie King & Dennis Lott and their son, Corbin Lott; two sisters: Kathy King and Lynn King, both of North Carolina; two brothers-in-law: William “Bill” Bailey of Fitzgerald and Alton Clyde Bailey, Jr. and his wife Elaine Chasteen Bailey of Bowling Green, Kentucky; sister-in-law, Sherry King of Irwin County; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Sue King and a brother, Reggie King.
