Sharon L. (Gosselin) Bentley, 66, of Gainesville, FL passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Shands Hospital. She was the wife of Brian K. Bentley.
Mrs. Bentley was born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Robert and Barbara (Gifford) Gosselin and had resided in Mattapoisett for most of her life prior to relocating to Gainesville, FL 2 years ago. She had previously worked for Reebok, Mattapoisett. She was an avid barrel racer. Mrs. Bentley enjoyed training and riding horses and camping.
Survivors along with her husband include her 2 step-daughters: Alyssa Tuininga of Milford, NH and Kristen Bentley of Dartmouth; her sister Sandra Fournier of Dartmouth; her 3 step-grandchildren: Henning, Conner and Eligha; along with several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Cheryl White, Robert Gosselin, Stephen Gosselin and Lewis Gosselin.
Funeral service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Monday, February 28, 2022 at the Potter Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M.
Calling hours will be Sunday from 2-5 P.M.
Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Dartmouth.
