Obituary




Worcester – Thomas J. Conner, 78, of Worcester, passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022 in the Lutheran Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center after an extended illness.

Mr. Connor is survived by his wife of 45 years, Constance M. (Freeman) Conner; three daughters, Tonia Raymond and her husband, Robert of Raymond of Worcester, Tasha Conner of Worcester and Nikiya-Star Conner and her husband, Hussein of Morocco; 12 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.

Thomas was born in Pulaski, Virginia son of the late, Henry and Sarah Conner and is also predeceased by a son, Daniel Freeman. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps and later earned an associate’s degree from Worcester State College.

Mr. Conner worked for over 30 years with the Sears and Roebuck Company as a sales representative in the Automotive Department.

Mr. Conner looked at himself as an entrepreneur and was always searching for a way to make the “Almighty Dollar”. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing softball, but he was truly the happiest when he was spending time with his family.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, February 28 from 5 to 7 PM in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester. A funeral service will take place at 7 PM after the calling hours. Burial will take place in his family cemetery, Conner Cemetery in Pulaski, Virginia.
