Obituary

Worcester -- William C. “Billy” Palilunas, 66, of Worcester, passed on February 15, 2022 at his home after an illness.

He leaves his sister, Carol A. Douaire and her husband Francis of South Grafton; one nephew Brian and two nieces, Lisa Prodromidis and Michelle. He was born in Worcester, the son of the late Casimir and Adele (Miklusis) Palilunas and lived in Worcester’s Grafton Hill all of his life. He graduated from Worcester Boys Trade High School.

Mr. Palilunas worked 34 years as a Mixer at the former Norton Company now St. Gobain. He retired several years ago. He had been a member of the former St. Casimir Church. He was a car buff and always enjoyed attending car shows at Green Hill Park, and playing Keno at the PNI Club and seeing his friends. He also belonged to the former Lithuanian Club and enjoyed going to Lou Roc’s Diner with his family. He was an avid Red Sox fan. He will be missed by family and childhood friends Paul and Carol Morkunas and their son Chris. Also, Matt, Mike and Dave.

The graveside service and burial in St. John’s Cemetery will be private at a later date. DIRSA – MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton Street, Worcester is assisting the family.
