Lucille "Lucy" (Denoncourt) Page, age 88, a lifelong resident of Chicopee, passed away on February 20, 2022 at Care One at Redstone Nursing Home. She was born at home on August 30, 1933 to the late Henry and Lena (Fredette) Denoncourt. She was raised in Chicopee and attended local schools. A woman of strong faith, she was a communicant of St. Rose De Lima Church. She worked as a lunch lady for Chicopee Public Schools for many years before she retired. Lucille is predeceased by her husband of 52 years, William “Tom” Page who passed away in 2019. She is also predeceased by her beloved siblings, Armand, Florence, Rita, Roland, Rene, George, Leo, and Raymond. She leaves her two sisters-in-law, Martha Lynch and Elizabeth "Betty" Kuzniar along with her many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and her dear longtime friends, Edward and Gail Budarz of West Springfield, who will all miss her dearly. A visitation will be held on the morning of the funeral, Thurs., March 3, 2022 from 8:00 – 9:00 AM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St Rose de Lima Church at 9:30 AM. Burial will take place in the MA Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Agawam. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Rose De Lima Church or the charity of your choice.
