Ryan K. Griffin, 31, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Tuesday, February 22, 2022.
Graveside services will be held 11 AM, Saturday, February 26, 2022, at New Hope Cemetery in Coffee County, Georgia, with the Rev. Rob Merritt and the Rev. Greg Pope officiating. The family will receive friends 6-8 Friday evening at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Ryan was born August 20, 1990, in Tifton, Georgia, to Bryan K. Griffin and Lisa Yarbrough Jones. He attended Fitzgerald High School and Wiregrass Technical College. He was a farmer and an avid sports fan, particularly the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves. He enjoyed rabbit hunting and field trials with his Beagles. He was also passionate about watching his daughters show hogs. Ryan was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Kelli Gibbs Griffin of Fitzgerald; daughters: Molli Ryan Griffin and Elli Dawn Ash; father, Bryan K. & Anjette Griffin; mother, Lisa Y. & Rock Jones; siblings: Kyle & Kayla Griffin, Katy Griffin and her fiancé Justin Stubbs, Keri Douglas, Faith Jones, Jay Jones, Jake Jones, and Casey Jones; grandparents: Susan J. Griffin, Linda L. Yarbrough, Charles & Diane Deen, and Myrtle Jones; nieces and a nephew: Kaden Griffin, Kenslie Griffin and Hadlee Douglas; along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers: Ernest Yarbrough and Jerry Griffin.
