In Taunton, Peter Rocha, age 67, passed away unexpectedly in his home on February 16, 2022. Peter was born in Lowell, MA., the son of Charlotte Dever of Lowell and the late Gerry Dever.
Peter has resided in Taunton most of his life. He attended Taunton schools and was graduate of Taunton High School. Peter was an employee of Taunton State Hospital, retiring after 35 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, wood carving, hunting and being outdoors, and above all cherished his time with family especially his beloved grandchildren.
Peter is survived by his loving son, Peter Rocha and his wife Kristy of Chazy, NY, his siblings; Gerry Dever and wife Janet of Taunton, Theresa Correia and husband Mike of Middleboro and Sharon Maynard and husband Don of Taunton, his grandchildren; Grant and Grace Rocha of Chazy, NY and his great nieces and nephew; Emily, Noah, Claire, Taj, Evelyn, Andre and Inara. Funeral home visiting hours will be held at the O’Keefe Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Saturday, February 26th from 1-3pm. Funeral is private at the request of the family.
