Vanadious "Van" (Carroll) Morse, 90, of New Bedford died Sunday, February 20, 2022 at St. Luke's Hospital after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Milton Lee Morse, Jr.
Born in Pawtucket, RI, daughter of the late William and Sophie (Lysowski) Carroll, she lived in New Bedford for most of her life.
Van was a devoted mother to her children. She enjoyed singing in minstrel shows and local club dancing with her husband Milt.
She is survived by three daughters, Donna Divona and her husband Frank, Deborah Mucillo and her husband Steven, and Diane Eccleston; five grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Milt and her 11 siblings.
Her Funeral Service will be held Monday, February 28, 2022 at 11:30am in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery.
