Arlene Anne (Paulette) Villiard, 86, of Franklin died February 20 at Milford Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. She was the wife of Roger L. Villiard, Sr. for the past 63 years.
Born in Milford. August 25, 1935, the daughter of the late John and Annie (Pollard) Paulette, Arlene was raised in Medway and had lived in Franklin for over 60 years.
Arlene had been a mail administrator for the Milford Daily News for several years.
Her family was the most important part of Arlene’s life.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, Kathy Sloan of Franklin, Roger L. Villiard, Jr of Holbrook and Paul Villiard of Franklin.
She was the sister of the late Fred Paulette, Bucky Paulette, Betty Guido and Mary Daggett.
Arlene is also survived by her grandchildren, Angel Sloan, Joseph Villiard, Jessica Villiard and the late Larry Sloan along with her great-grandchildren, Allexis Sloan, Jaycee Sloan, Nicholas Sloan and Skylar Sloan.
Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 24, in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street, Franklin at 10:00 a.m.
Burial will be in St. Jean-Baptiste Cemetery Bellingham.
Visitation will be in the funeral home on Thursday from 8:00- 10:00 a.m. prior to the service.
