Obituary

DUDLEY – Anna M. (Hmura) Baronoski, 99, died Saturday, February 19, 2022 after a short illness. Her husband of 64 years, Robert R. Baronoski, died in 2012.

She leaves her son Gary R. Baronoski with whom she lived; several nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers Anthony Hmura, Frank Hmura and Walter Hmura and by 2 sisters Julia Bednarz and Helen Thompson.

She was born on March 9, 1922 in Worcester, daughter of Felix and Mary (Polka) Hmura and graduated from David Hale Fanning Trade High School. She lived in Worcester for most of her life before moving to Dudley.

She first worked as a stitcher and then in clothing manufacturing before becoming a full-time homemaker. She enjoyed baking and was an excellent cook.

She was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church in Worcester and attended Saint Andrew Bobola in Dudley. She was a member of the PNI Club of Worcester, PNA Lodge #758 of Worcester and the PAV Auxiliary of Webster.

The funeral will be held on Thursday, February 24 at 10:00 A.M. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street, Worcester (please meet at the church). Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. The family requests that flowers be omitted and donations in her memory be made to Our Lady of Czestochowa Memorial Fund, 34 Ward Street, Worcester, MA 01610. Arrangements are under the direction of Sitkowski, Malboeuf & Hickey Funeral Home, 340 School Street, Webster.
