Joan was very generous and outgoing. She loved to travel and live her life to the full. Her favorite past times were dancing, playing the slot machines and dining out among many other things. She was a very vibrant, independent free spirit who gave to many charities, her favorite being St. Jude. Joan was a dedicated mother and grandmother. She loved to spend time with her 7 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and never forgot their birthdays. She was always proud to mention how many grandchildren she had wherever she went. It was her pride and joy.
Joan was a beautiful woman inside and out. She never looked her age and took pride in her youthful spirit. To lose her was a tremendous loss for those who loved her. She will never be forgotten and we look forward to the day where we will one day see her alive again.
