Rosalie Howell Silva, 59, of Tifton passed away Sunday, February 20, 2022, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 23, 2022, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Keith Burch officiating. Mrs. Silva will be laid to rest at Tift Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.
Christopher Dawson, Foster Dawson, Jaime Gomez, J. R. Howell, Fernando Plaza and Tony Howell will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis Wiggins, Nick Garcia, Blas Santillan and Zach Adams.
Born March 25, 1962, in Ashburn, Mrs. Silva was the daughter of the late Mary Lou Kearce Howell Elinburg and Arthur Clinton Howell. She was also preceded in death by her step-father, Frank Elinburg; and one sister, Ellen Guy. She was a homemaker. She loved her husband, her children, her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. She also loved the Georgia Bulldogs and all social media. Everybody was family to her.
Mrs. Silva is survived by her husband of 22 years, Soylo Silva Ramos of Tifton; her children and their spouses, Alicia and Jaime Gomez of Tifton, Andrea Dawson of Cartersville, Pauline and Steve Roberts of Indiahoma, Oklahoma, Billy Wayne Garcia of Frederick, Oklahoma, Juana Maria Silva of Mexico, Tabath and Morris Adams and Chris Griffin of Gainesville; her siblings, Janet Howell, Helen Wiggins, Sandra Reyes, Jack Howell, Billy Joe Howell and his wife, Marie, all of Tifton; sixteen grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
