Obituary

Dudley – Ronald A. Boisclair, 73, of Dudley and formerly of Worcester passed away in Hartford Hospital on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 after an illness.

Ron is survived by his son, Philip E. Boisclair and his wife, Nicole of Hubbardston, MA; 3 grandchildren, Cole Boisclair, Christopher Litchfield and Emily Litchfield, and his “adopted daughter” Jessica Cappello of Holden, MA and her family. Ron also had 7 nieces and nephews and their families that he loved like his own children. Ron was born in Worcester, son of the late Edmond T. and Dorothy A. (Sturtevant) Boisclair and is also predeceased by two brothers, Phillipe Boisclair and Steven Boisclair Sr.

Ron proudly served in the United States Army and then worked as a social worker for over 20 years with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts before retiring. Ron was a member of the Webster-Dudley American Legion Post 184. He enjoyed exercising and swimming at the YMCA in both Southbridge and Worcester and was an avid outdoorsman. He especially liked camping and fishing.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 24, from 5 to 7 PM in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester with a prayer service and military honors to be held at 7 PM. Memorial contributions in memory of Ron may be made to Heart Heroes at heartheroes.org.
