Esther L. Milton, 86, of Derry, NH peacefully passed away Friday February 18, 2022, in her residence surrounded by her family. She was born June 18, 1935, in Boston, MA, a daughter of the late Gordon Bovaird and Cecelia J. (Nadeau) Hinman. Esther was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, great aunt, great-great aunt, cousin and friend.
Esther loved the ocean especially Rye State Park, NH. She enjoyed camping and taking day trips up to the White Mountains of NH. She was an avid Red Sox fan, her favorite food was Italian food. Esther loved the outdoors and she cherished hand picked flowers especially daisies; she was happy to get other hand picked flowers from everyone's yard, even a stranger's.
Esther loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren beyond measure. She loved all of her family and if anyone needed a mother's love she did her best to give that love to them. She always said, “Family first, celebrate everything."
Esther is survived by her sons, Steven A. Milton, and Albert J. Milton; her daughters, Kathleen L. Dionne, and Tracy Ann Tebo; her six grandchildren, Brandy, Jessica, Devin, Nicholas, Shawn, Felicia and her seven great grandchildren.
Esther has reunited with her brothers, Robert G. Bovaird, James J. Bovaird, William S. Bovaird, and Paul R. Bovaird; and her sisters, Louise B. O’Brien, Kathleen M. Noe, Gertrude J. Foley, Elizabeth Bovaird, Carol A. Hinman and many more family members and friends.
Following cremation, a celebration of life will be held privately by the family at a later date. The Peabody Funeral Home & Crematorium is assisting the family with arrangements.
