Clara Theresa (Labagnara) Clemente, age 90, of Medford passed away on Monday, February 14th. Raised and educated in Medford, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Clara (Sousa) Labagnara. Clara loved her family and enjoyed caring for them and making their house a home.
Clara was the beloved wife of Philip Clemente and the devoted mother of Anthony Clemente and his late wife Lana, Donna Hurley and her husband John and Philip Clemente. She was the dear sister of Lenore Martins, Virginia Coldwell and her husband Ron, and the late Dolores Siciliano, Jacqueline Martins, Richard Costa and James Costa. Clara was the loving grandmother of Gina, Anthony, Tanya, Damian, Jami, Rebecca and Rachel and is survived by many loving nieces and nephews and great grandchildren.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden, on Tuesday, February 22nd at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with family in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St, Medford from 8:30 through 9:30 AM. Services will conclude with entombment at Holy Cross Mausoleum, Malden.
In lieu of flowers, Clara's family requests expressions of sympathy to be made in the form of contributions in Clara's name to a charity of their choice.
