FALL RIVER...Henry Borges, age 59, passed away on February 12, 2022. He was born in Fall River to the late Jorge and Adelaide (Antonio) Borges.
Henry was known for his talent and strong love of music, focusing on the guitar and drums. He started playing at the age of 12 years old and continued to play throughout his life. His devotion to music was clear when he joined his first band, Mars, and later, joined Marc Dennis’ band as a drummer for many years. He wrote songs independently and worked on many musical projects with friends and family which he was immensely proud of.
He also enjoyed working with computers. Henry received his certificate in Microsoft and worked at Stream and Micro Technologies. His passion was obvious, as he was always on top of the latest technology trends and loved showing off his new gadgets.
He is survived by his children, Justin and Kayla Borges of Fall River, his siblings, Joseph Borges, George Borges, and Ana Barbosa, his grandson, Elliot Brum, as well as several nieces and nephews. Henry was predeceased by his sister, Beatrice Borges.
Visitation to which relatives and friends are invited to attend will be held from 9-10:30 A.M. on Friday, February 18, 2022 at 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River, MA 02723 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. at Espirito Santo Church located on Alden Street in Fall River, MA. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery on Stafford Road in Fall River, MA.
