Obituary

OXFORD – Carol A. (Berg) Lucier, 67, died Friday, February 11, 2022 in Harrington Memorial Hospital, Southbridge of complications from Covid-19.

She leaves her husband of 20 years, Alan R. Lucier; 4 children, Kim Parlee, her husband John and their son Jaxon of Charlton, Alan R. Lucier, his wife LuAnn and their children Connor and Samantha of Savannah, GA, Kurt M. Lucier, his wife Kym and their children Isaac, Vanessa and Jada of Fredericksburg, VA , and Richard Pierce III, his wife Stephanie and their son Richard IV of Tampa; a great-grandson Miles; numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was born in Worcester on May 19, 1954, the only child of Clarence G. and Ann E. (August) Berg and graduated from Burncoat High School in 1972. She moved to Oxford in the 1970’s.

Mrs. Lucier worked in the meat department at Price Chopper in Webster for 28 years, retiring in 2016.

She enjoyed playing cards, motorcycle riding, camping and traveling. Her family was her treasure.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Sitkowski, Malboeuf & Hickey Funeral Home, 340 School Street, Webster.
