Joseph Castelone, of Woburn formerly of Medford, February 14, 2022. Beloved husband for 50 years of Mary A. (Finegan) Castelone. Devoted father of James Castelone of Woburn, Kevin Castelone and his wife Nicole, and grandsons Ronan and Nolan of Penticton, BC, Canada. Son of the late Philip and Margaret (Maggio) Castelone. Brother of Dolores Castelone of Revere, and the late Charles Castelone formerly of NH. Further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and their families.
Joseph was a proud U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War and retired from the Air Force as a Tech Sgt. of 21 years. Joseph also worked for many years as a Pan Am Cargo agent and a truck driver for Purity Supreme and Verizon.
Funeral services will be held from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., WOBURN, Monday, February 21st, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass celebrated in St. Anthony Church, 851 Main St., Woburn, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours at the McLaughlin – Dello Russo Funeral Home will be held on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. Interment services will be private.
Out of concern for everyone’s safety, face masks must be worn at all times. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers donations may be made in Joseph’s memory to the MGH Heart or Cancer Center, 125 Nashua St., suite 540, Boston, MA 02114-1101.
